Format Commands

Format commands in PowerShell are used to change the output view. There are four format commands in PowerShell.
1. Format-Wide
2. Format-List
3. Format-Table
4. Format-Custom

Each Cmdlet has default properties that will used if we do not specify specific properties to display.

Form-Wide:
Displays default only the default property of an object by default.

Format-List:
Displays an object in the form of a listing, with each property labeled and displayed on a separate line.

Format-Table:
To display tabular layout.

Format-Custom:
Formats output of a command as defined in an alternate view.
